Other projects are out-of-place and do not conform to your neighborhood. These land use projects need to be stopped in the early stages of development. You must take action immediately when you get the first notice from the City Planning Department. You have more power than you think! You will find all the tools and resources you need on this website to help you fight to keep your neighborhood safe for your family and children and pleasant to live in. In most cases, it does not take a lot of time or effort, and you are not alone. We are all united in the desire to preserve our community. We must take a stand to shape it's future, and not pass the buck, or sit on our hands while the powers that be decide our fate.
On August 1st, of 2006 Lisa Cerda was given a certificate of Appreciation and a Commendation for her work on behalf of T.R.A.P.P.D. and the Neighborhood Watch by Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa, Councilman Dennis Zine and Chief Bratton. She shares this recognition with all of the members of T.R.A.P.P.D. who have sacrificed a little to gain a lot. |
